This Noise, this shaking is because it is coming together!

Ezekiel 37:1-10 AMP
37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 He caused me to pass all around them, and behold, there were very many [human bones] in the open valley; and lo, they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’ 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will make [a]breath enter you so that you may come to life. 6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and I will put breath in you so that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’”7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on the bones, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Ezekiel, in the text above is in this valley where there are no signs of life, He is asked to do something , that at first glance appears to be a foolish act. Many of us, if faced with this valley would probably have many questions , like why Would God bring me to this place? How can this valley of dry bones be of any substance? What can be used here?
Ezekiel did not have hope in the bones, he had hope in God. Ezekiel knew that God had a plan and he needed to do two things:
First, he needed to speak to the Bones.
Secondly, He needed to believe.
Imagine if Ezekiel just spoke to the bones out of obedience to God, but did not believe that what God was saying would come to past? His disbelief and or doubt would have hindered Gods ability to bring the bones to life, not because of some deficiency in the power of God to do the impossible, but because of a lack of faith in Ezekiel to believe that God is able to do all things.  If we only trust God with the small things, that is all we will see him do for our lives, but if we could get to the place where we trust him with all things, the big things,  the hard things, and especially the crazy faith things, we will see God move in ways greater than we could have imagined.
Ezekiel was confident in his faith in God, he knew that if he opened his mouth and prophesied to those bones, they would come together.  He believed God had a plan for those dry bones. So he spoke to them. Ezekiel did not deviate from the instruction. Ezekiel did not waste time trying to be an archaeologist  and piece the bones together himself. He instead trusted what God said and when he  spoke to those bones he heard a sound, a noise,  a rattling. That rattling was the sound signifying that these bones, these dry bones were coming together.
Sometimes, we find ourselves like Ezekiel looking at Dry Bones. Christianity, does not leave you exempt from the ebbs and flow of life. Years go by , plans change, life happens and suddenly you are asking God What can be used here? You find yourself in the valley of the dry bones of your life, examining the  dreams you gave up on, your ailing marriage, your rebellious child, and your broken heart. You are looking in this valley surrounded by the things you hoped for in life, but never materialized. You are saying these things are dead, and are not coming back to life. You have said, my time has past to get the job, the house, the partner, to be used in ministry. Some of us find ourself in a situation that appears to be hopeless. I came to tell you today that your circumstances are not hopeless, you just have to say the right things.  Your assignment is to do two things:
1. Speak to the bones.
2. Believe.
When we speak to the dry bones of our life three things happen:
1. Revival
2. Restoration
3. Another Chance
Revival
We often think of speaking as just words. On the contrary , to speak is a verb, it is an action and It serves as evidence of something. When we speak to our "dry bones" we are not only putting God's word in action but we are providing evidence that God's word works.. The dictionary defines revival as " an improvement in the condition or strength of something"  By saying what God says, you are improving the condition of whatever you are speaking to . This is why is important to watch what we say because our speech is sending out actions we expect to see. In the above passage of text,  the bones began to rattle or be revived, because Ezekiel used God's word when he spoke to the Bones.
Restoration:
In verse 10, we see that Ezekiel commanded breath into the slain in the valley and they came to life and stood. The text does not say that the bones rattled together and instantly were fully operating people. Instead the text takes us thru a process of restoration. the bones first had to be joined together, than tissue and muscles added, then flesh and skin, even then they did not have breath or life in them, that was another step in the process.  Restoring something is not instaneous, it is a process. Ezekiel had to wait to see what he was speaking was coming to pass. We often start strong speaking the word of God over our lives, over our family, over our finances, but because we do not see the results immediately we start to doubt. I want to encourage you to keep speaking Gods word until you see  it coming together.
Another Chance:
I often watch HGTV, I love a good home repair show.  I especially, love the ones where they are restoring historical homes. All the shows have different premises, designers, contractors etc. While they may have different styles, the goal of all of them is to bring the home back to its intended state. Speaking to your Dry Bones allows God to give you another chance to be who he purposed you to be.  These bones in the text had been dead a long time, so long that there was nothing on them, they were bare. What areas in your life, have you given up on because they are not producing?  How many times have you talked yourself out of going for a goal because you were not qualified? How many times have you put off the business because someone else was doing it?  You are God's masterpiece, you were built and equipped with every tool you needed to fuflill God's purpose on your life. I want to encourage you to speak God's word over every aspect of your life and watch how he revives you,  restores you , and gives you another chance. You do not have to be bound to your past. The answer is Yes, God can still use you. Yes, he loves you. Yes, you can live again.

Prayer:
Lord give us wisdom. Allow faith to have our ear. Allow us to trust in you and your plan for our life. Give us the right words to say. Gives us strength to not be fooled by the enemy. Strengthen our faith in you. We surrender our plans to you God, we ask that you revive the dreams we gave up on, ignite in us a hunger to chase after you. We thank you, in Jesus name , Amen.
